Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's lawyer, celebrates birthday at Yankees-Astros game (PHOTOS)

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, now the attorney for President Donald Trump, celebrated his 74th birthday on Monday by returning to the Bronx for the Yankees' Memorial Day game vs. the Houston Astros.

Giuliani's presence was noted by Yankees' PR, per CNN:

"The New York Yankees wish a very happy birthday to Mayor Giuliani," an announcer said over the loudspeaker during the game. The birthday greeting was greeted by loud and sustained boos throughout the crowd.

The Yankees lost, 5-1.

However Giuliani did see the Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox, 9-6, on May 10th.

What if Yanks traded for Verlander?

Giuliani joined Trump's legal team in April in an effort to help the President clear up any ties between the Trump campaign and Russian interference in the 2016 election.

According to CNN, Giuliani remains focused on the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller:

During a Sunday appearance on CNN's "State of the Union," Giuliani called into question the special counsel's Russia probe, defended Trump's political attacks on the Mueller team and called former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan "two clowns."

Taking a break from his day job, Giuliani had a prime seat to watch Astros ace Justin Verlander dominate the Yankees on Monday. Verlander gave up just one run (a Greg Bird solo home run) in 6.2 innings of work.
