COLUMBUS, Ohio - Who deserves the final spot in the 2018 college football playoffs if it comes down to the Ohio State Buckeyes or Oklahoma Sooners?
Oklahoma scores more points. Ohio State has the significantly better defense.
The Buckeyes' big wins (against Penn State and Michigan) are better than what Oklahoma will be able to post.
But Ohio State got beat badly by unranked Purdue. Oklahoma's only loss was close, and to a ranked Texas team.
Scroll below for a comparison between Ohio State and Oklahoma in many categories - offense, defense, the quarterbacks, their schedules and more.
If both teams win their league championship games Saturday, the college football playoff committee may be picking between the two when the playoff pairings are announced Sunday.
