UFC 232 has a new home and fans will be able to purchase tickets for the event on Wednesday.
Per Ticketmaster, sales for Saturday’s show that was moved from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. will go on sale tomorrow, with first priority going to those who purchased tickets for the originally scheduled venue and official platinum ticket buyers at 12 p.m. PT.
The change in location was made after news broke Sunday evening that the Nevada State Athletic Commission would not be granting Jon Jones a license to compete in Nevada after a drug-testing abnormality was discovered in a recent urine sample. Jones is coming off of a 15-month suspension for a second failed drug test and would have required a temporary license from the NSAC to compete in the light heavyweight championship main event of UFC 232 opposite Alexander Gustafsson. He is expected to appear before the commission again in January.
Jones has been granted a license to compete in Inglewood by the California State Athletic Commission.
GYM, Fight Club, social, and newsletter presale tickets will be available at 2 p.m. ET, with the general public able to purchase tickets at 3 p.m. ET.
Jones and Gustafsson remain the headliners, while UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes challenges Cris Cyborg for the UFC women’s featherweight championship in the co-main event.
