Just over one-third of the teams -- 23 to be exact -- enter the NCAA Tournament with at least one player who was either born, grew up in or grew into a basketball star in the state.

They will be playing for schools spanning from the Bayou State to the Pacific Northwest, all with the vision of finishing their season on the night of Monday, April 8, at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis in the national final.
