Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has taken to social media to reassure fans after a concerning clash of heads during the Premier League win over Everton.
City overcame a tough test from Everton thanks to a brace from Gabriel Jesus and another from Raheem Sterling.
Laporte featured alongside Nicolas Otamendi in central defence as John Stones was rested, but was involved in a worrying clash in the second half.
The defender went down and was attended to by City's medical staff, but got up to walk off the pitch and was deemed fit to continue.
And after the game, Laporte took to Twitter to reassure fans that there are no serious repercussions from the incident.
He said: "All is okey! Thank you so much for all the messages. Well done team! +3"
City travel to Leicester in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, but Laporte has not featured in either of their games in the competition so far this season.
Stones was an unused substitute against Everton and could feature, while Vincent Kompany was not in the matchday squad at all on Saturday.
